About The Secret Executive

Why I started this business: Business complexity has grown over the years along with lack of corporate transparency. Employees are expected to believe whatever their company pushes their way. The bigger the company, the worse it can be. It’s like companies have skipped past being authentic and have refused to address the things employees really want to know. Pro tip: if you don’t speak honestly, it appears as though you have something to hide which is how poor company culture starts. #thanksforcomingtomyTEDtalk

TSE is my rebuttal to today’s lack of transparency. I don’t care if you’re a mail clerk or a Senior VP on the verge of entering the C-suite. If you have career questions, you deserve answers. We all do. I can’t guarantee my answers will be what you want to hear but I’ll make my best effort to be fair and honest.

Why is my identity a secret?: Since I have a corporate job, I want to keep things easy. This includes creating as little friction as possible with outside employment policies. I don’t plan to remain a secret forever but I will until the time is right.

About me: I’ve spent half of my career in and around C-suites. So I’ve taken part in countless corporate highs and lows, keynote events, board meetings, rapid growth, layoffs, executive drama and have met my share of VIP’s. I've seen global business deals up close, which taught me more than most schools (although I do have a business degree). To learn things from a book is one thing. To witness it in person day after day is a different story. It's been fascinating to see how decisions are made and to understand the executive perspective. Honestly, I’ve been a part of the best executive education that exists. And now I’m in a position to provide that education to a wider audience. It’s not enough for me to know all that I’ve learned. I want you to know it too.
